Everybody Deserves A Great Website

That's our mantra. Whenever you're casually surfing the Internet, we bet you can't help but notice scores upon scores of bad websites. We want to change that. We want to make the Internet good again. But we can't do it without you.

We need your help to spread the word. Rocket Power's websites are helping all kinds of organizations to thrive, from businesses, to bands, to non-profits, to grassroots social movements. Check MySpace, or Facebook, or your plain old address book; you know hundreds of people. You have a tremendous amount of influence. Tell everybody you know that they don't have to settle for a budget website. They don't have ask a favor of their "tech-savvy uncle". They don't have to deal with complicated agencies or questionable freelancers. Great websites exist if you know where to look, and Rocket Power definitely makes great websites.

Spread The Word

You can help spread the buzz! And we want to spread the love. So why not work together? If you refer our products to absolutely anybody, and they complete a project with us, we'll send you a big box of money. (In the form of a cheque.)

How Big Is Big?

For every Launchpad that you refer, we'll send you $100. For every Rocket Powered Website, we'll send you $250. That's a pretty sweet deal, but what if you leverage your social network? Lots of your friends and contacts are in the market right now. Take a look at this:

Facebook

The average Facebook user has 164 friends connected to them. At least a handful of them will know somebody who is looking for a great website. If you take ten minutes to write a message, bulk-send it to your friends, and hook up two with Rocket Powered Websites, you've made $500. In ten minutes!

MySpace

The granddaddy of social networks. This is a perfect place to find small organizations, bands and other groups who would love to upgrade to a better website. Have a few hundred friends? If ten of them need better websites, then congratulations, you've just earned $999.

Email

We're so passionate about building better websites, we send emails directly to friends, relatives, and even complete strangers, offering to make them look good on the Internet. And guess what? It works. Don't be afraid to email the small restaurant you just ate at. (You know, the one with the home-made, two-second website.) They'll be really happy you did.

How Do I Get Started?

You already have. It only takes two simple steps to get the magic flowing:

First, reach out to others. If it's a friend, send them an email. On Facebook? Use Facebook mail. Invite friends to join the Rocket Power Facebook group. Leverage MySpace. Talk to the people at your day job. Phone your family. You get the idea. Tell them that you know the owners, and if they mention your name, they'll get a discount on a website. (This is true; keep reading.)

Second, email us. Let us know who you referred, by name or organization if possible. We keep a list of referrals, and if someone you have talked to comes our way, even if it's years from now, we'll still send you that cheque.

What Do I Say?

Just be yourself. We don't want you to act like a salesman. Simply spread the word, and help out those in need of a great website. Karma will take care of the rest. Say something like this:

You Said Something About A Discount?

That's right. As an incentive to explore our world of better websites, we're offering all referred customers three months of free web hosting. This is a $60-150 savings, depending on the type of website they purchase. You are free to offer this discount to anybody who is interested in building a website with Rocket Power.
